Most heritage guest houses and hotels in Pondicherry have very few rooms since their interior or exterior is not altered much. Aurodhan Heritage Guest House was started a year-and-a-half ago on the second and third floors of their seven-year-old art gallery in Kuruchikuppam. Walk through the gallery with paintings all over the walls and climb up the polished dark wooden stairs to enter the sitting room of the guest house. The terracotta chimes and a granite bull instantly catch your attention. Each room has been tastefully designed with carefully chosen antique furniture. The rooms are air-conditioned and have baths attached. At present, the guest house has seven rooms and 11 more will be added by March end. 

The building is more than 75years old and used to serve as a marriage hall.
