Farm Weekends- Nandi Hills

The farm is located in a verdant valley at the foothills of Nandi, the popular hill station near Bangalore. Perched on a hillock overlooking the breathtaking Gollahalli lake the farm offers a serene view of the scenic hills all around.

The farm is a 15 acre vegetation haven situated in a serene location at the foothills of Nandi, the famous hill resort off Bangalore. The hillocks all around and the lake which the farm overlooks complete to make the location picture–post card like.
The farm follows eco-friendly farming practices and the major crops include coconuts, arecanuts and bananas. Apart from a variety of flowering tress and shrubs, the farm also has an assortment of fruit bearing trees such as apple, avacados, litchis, orange, mango, guava, and custard apple to name a few. The Herbs and Spice garden with its cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, vanilla and pepper plants offers a rare opportunity to view them at such close quarters to the city.

A morning farm trek is a great way to know the beauties of the farm and has great therapeutic effect on frailed nerves. On the way you meet the jumping catfish in the pond and a well maintained rock garden with a variety of cactus plants.
In short, the farm provides you with the rare opportunity to live in harmony with nature, spend quality time with your family or just by yourself. The farm would ensure to wash away all the masks that we wear to face the world & help us be better humans!!

Lazing around on one of the hammocks and revel in natures purity could probably be the best activity you could do while at the farm. Should you opt for otherwise, there is adequate farm activities and recreational facilities to keep the whole family occupied whether outdoors or indoors.

Wake up to the cooing of birds and take a farm trek to breathe–in the crisp fresh air. Here you would have close encounters with the hundreds of fruits and flower bearing trees in various stages of blooming. Do not forget to feed the friendly dogs and the large assortment of birds as well as the catfish merrily jumping around in the fish pond.

The farm has an aesthetically designed Swimming Pool with a Toddlers Pool set in the midst of nature. The pool has interesting contours with varying depths which offers enormous possibilities of fun apart from swimming or a game of water – polo while in the pool
