Agumbe, one of the most scenic places on the Western Ghats in
Southern India is a lush green view all around, the natural attraction
of the visitors is the spectacular sunset and vast natures capes
it offers to the trekkers and general holidayers. Agumbe is one
of the highest peak of the western ghats, situated in-between
Shimoga & Dakshina Kannada Districts.
The sign of the
monsoon is when the river Sita's in full flow. One
of the very best rivers in India and especially located in the
jungles of Agumbe, This river is perfectly designed for white
water river runs across some of the most scenic & breath taking
sights on either sites of the raft.

before the roll - The chief river guide runs through detailing
the course of the 22 km marathon river run and special instruction
on craft handling & safety measures.The
white water river rafting activity is absolutely safe and our

in safety keeping.
The
Sitanadi nature camp is situated amidst & inside the wilds
of the Someshwara wildlife sanctuary. The nature camp is located
close to the river Sitanadi and the setting is an awesome experience
of raw reality. A pleasant drive away from the camp is Agumbe,
which receives the third highest rainfall. In India [out with
the rain coats]. This location in short is for those daring to
go where only eagles have!!

river rafting activity & the Koodlu theertha trek. The White
Water Rafting course is rated amongst the 3 plus & 4 plus
grades, meaning they are nerve stretching & pretty tough on
some of the eight rapids on the course. In fact for those wanting
to experience this wild, highly exciting river activity there
are two types of runs on the river… medium run over 16 -
18 kms takes approx. 3 - 4 hrs & the marathon run over 22
kms takes approx 4 - 5 hrs.
